We love so much Sirolo, this is an elegant village perched on a cliff overhanging the sea, immersed in the nature of the Conero Nature Reserve. It has the layout of an medieval village. A walk in the centre takes you along alleys and little streets, among craftsmen’s shops and fashion boutiques to the wide, open panoramic square in the centre of the village.
Stop on this natural terrace over the sea and enjoyed the amazing panorama of the Conero, and from where, on the clearest days, you can see the Kornati islands and Croatia.
You can go for a walk in the reserve and find yourself at the seaside… Sirolo has the one of the most crystal clear transparent seas of the Adriatic; this year it has received the twentisecond consecutive blue flag, in addition to the 4 sails association. A nice and famous beach where you can to go and relax is the Two Sister Beach.
The Parco della Repubblica of Sirolo, does not only allow you to walk in the greenery of its paths, but is also a place where you can relax in silence with a good book and to finish… take a selfie with this unforgettable panorama as a backdrop. From the Park of the Republic you can go down to the San Michele beach, following a downhill path you will arrive at this blue sea right at the foot to the slopes of Mount Conero.
The Cortesi Theatre is the historical theatre of Sirolo, a splendid example of the nineteenth century “chocolate box” theatre. Inside the atmosphere is of past times, just look up and see sparkling chandelier surrounded by the figures of ten dancing women.
The theatre offers a rich year round programme of plays and music. Don’t miss the magic watching a show at Sirolo’s Teatro alla Cave in the summer. There are 3.500 seats in a disused cave in the woods. In a period of more than 30 years artists such as Dario Fo, Franca Rame and Roberto Benigni have performed on this stage under the stars!
Have a nice holiday in this beautiful place in the Adriatic Coast of Marche, in Italy!
